How old do you have to be to play?

In order to attend any of our social events or leagues you must be at least 21 years old. There is no maximum age. The average age is mid to late 20’s, and we have hundreds upon hundreds of players in their 30s and 40s. We also welcome players in their 50s and beyond! Some leagues have slightly different age averages… Contact us if you have questions.

I’ve never played sports before. Can I still play in your events?

Absolutely. Our events are for all levels. We’re about the social element of the game! Come out, have fun on the field, meet new friends, head to the bar.

I’m actually a pretty good player. Will I still have fun in your events?

First of all, congrats you baller! Secondly, you sure will. Our events are casually competitive, but should you want a little more advanced play, we offer competitive level for a few specific leagues.

Do you offer Corporate Teams?

We welcome corporate teams in our leagues! Starting a corporate team is as easy as creating a regular team. If you must pay with a company check or have other specific questions, please contact us.

ASAS also organize all kinds of corporate events, visit our corporate event pages!

What’s the difference between your levels?

The main reason we setup level is to put participants at their right places, and bring fun to both sides of the game. All new teams should start from the recreational level but we can switch you to the competitive level when necessary. This has to be done before the season starts.

Recreational level (B Division) – The recreational level is geared towards participants that are just looking to have fun. This is the basic level that the ASAS offers, you can think of it as the “beginners” level. Participants that play at this level have a good knowledge of the rules and the game. This is a great level for beginning teams to start and a great way to begin your team’s dynasty.

Competitive level (A Division) – The Competitive level is geared towards the participant that has played their respective sport for a large portion of their life and enjoys the sheer competition of the sport. You can think of this level as the “professional’s” level. Participants at this level should definitely have their game face on and expect a tough game. This is great level for those of you who are in it to win it!

How long is the season of your leagues?

Most of our leagues consist of a six or seven game regular season and playoffs. Football leagues are longer.

All leagues will state a guaranteed number of games.

When can I expect to hear about the schedule for the event I signed up for?

We typically send out all schedules via email and post them on the website about two weeks before the event.

Can you hold me a spot?

We do not hold any spots. The only way to get a confirmed spot in a league is to submit a roster and complete the deposit payment.

How do I pay you?

Your payments are made via different methods that we offered. We accept Bank transfer, cash and online payments like wechat, ZhiFuBao.

What happens if my team miss the registration deadline?

Every event we offer has room for a set amount of teams. Once we meet that number, we waitlist teams. This means no new teams may be formed, but players are still able to register. If a team slot opens up (which does happen occasionally), we offer the spot to the first team on the waitlist.

What if our team is short players for a game?

We are all buys, we understand that, despite your best efforts, registered members may not be able to attend every game. We allow teams to bring substitute players for any of our leagues but your team has to forfeit that game. Nobody likes a forfeit, but at least you and your opponents can have a game.

What if it rains, is snowing, or is generally miserable outside?

What is the sponsor bar? What if we have our own sponsor?

For all of our leagues we promote a sponsor bar. This is a place for all teams to go and get drink or food specials at a great bar close to the facility. Many teams get their own sponsors. This is acceptable. It is a great way to help defray your cost for playing in the league. We also have documents to introduce the league and event which may help you to get your own sponsor.
