Yabuli International Ski Resort is located in the Heilongjiang province in Northeastern part of China , 195 KM away from Harbin, which is the capital of the province, one of the 2 best alpine ski resorts in China . The place ever used to be the royal hunting ground in the Manchurian Qing Dynasty. The resort is the largest and earliest (built in 1980), which was developed for skiing in China with the best facilities, such as night skiing with lighting and meals in both Chinese and Western style.
The total ski area is 2255 hectare. Yabuli is 1374 meters above sea level; annual average temperature is 1¢XC, lowest temperature is -44¢XC; Winter season is from Nov until Apr; average snow period is 170 days, snow season is 120 days. Yabuli International Ski Resort has the best snow and the longest ski season in China . Average snow fall is 20-50 cm at thr lower part of the mountain, 100 cm at the top of the mountain.
